Headlight Restoration in Meridian, ID | Mobile Detailing Meridian

Make Your Car Look Years Younger & Drive Safer at Night

Modern headlights are made from clear polycarbonate plastic coated with a thin factory UV layer. Sitting in Meridian's intense high-desert sun and taking winter gravel spray along I-84 causes that factory layer to crack, fade, and turn a cloudy yellow-brown after a few years.

Cloudy headlights don't just make a clean car look old—they block up to 70% of your headlight beam at night. Store-bought wipe-on kits only put a temporary oil on the lens that turns yellow again in a month. We resurface the lens cleanly and lock in the clarity with a true SiO2 ceramic UV coating.

Our 4-Step Headlight Restoration Process

• 1. Protective Paint Masking: We tape off the painted fenders and bumper around your headlights so your paint is completely protected.
• 2. Multi-Stage Wet Sanding: We gently wet-sand away 100% of the dead, yellowed plastic layer using fine 800 to 3000-grit sanding discs.
• 3. Machine Optical Polishing: We machine-polish the lens with specialized compounds until the plastic is crystal clear like new glass.
• 4. Ceramic UV Protective Sealant: We seal the restored headlights with a permanent UV-blocking ceramic coat so they stay clear for years.
